In boys’ tennis, Muncy defeated Milton 5-0. Marshall Rothrock won a straight set victory at No. 2 singles, 6-0, 6-0. At No. 1 singles, Kaleb Meyer beat Milton’s Trace Witter, 6-2, 6-2, and Connor McLean beat Tyler Geiswite, 6-0, 6-2, at No. 3 singles.

The doubles team of Cruz Nagle and Rowan Revata beat Milton’s Luke Embeck and Talen Hoffer 6-0, 6-0.

Loyalsock led Shikellamy, 3-2. Jett Pulizzi won at No. 1 singles, 6-3, 6-4. Shikellamy won at No. 2 and 3 singles.

The Lancers swept the doubles competition as Caleb Shimko and Jackson Shangraw won the No. 1 doubles in three sets, 4-6, 6-4, 6-2, and Ryan Cao and Colby Peters won the No. 2 doubles, 7-5 6 -2.

The Jersey Shore won a 5-0 victory over the Cowanesque Valley. Jackson Stemler won in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 1 singles for the Bulldogs.

At No. 1-double, Matt Fravel and Brandon Shrodo won, 6-1, 6-0, and Aaron Baker and Brennan Smith got a 6-2, 6-4 victory at No. 2-double.

North Penn-Liberty fell to Towanda, 4-1. The Mounties’ lone victory came at No. 1 singles, with Daniel Harman winning a close contest, 7-5, 7-6 (7-4).

• Montgomery’s Faith Persing, Vallyn Ault and Abby Cross combined on a one-hitter as the Red Raiders defeated Sugar Valley, 13-1, by five innings. Persing hit just two innings and knocked out six.

Offensively, Taylor McRae and Jenna Waring each went 2 for 2 for Montgomery.

Madison Hardy hit a three-run homerun at the top of the eighth inning to give Central Mountain a 4-1 win over Danville. Harley Kunes struck a home run in the fifth inning, making it a 1-1 draw. Allison Lininger reached base in the eighth with a single that came after Caitlyn Watsonr peached on a foul.

In the circle, Addie McKeague got the win, limiting Danville to just six hits.

• Jack Blough had a double and Shea Girton hit a home run, but Lewisburg fell to Selinsgrove, 8-3, in high school baseball. The Green Dragons reduced the deficit to 3-2 at the top of the third, but the Seals responded with two runs at the bottom of the third to go ahead, 5-2.

Ryan Thompson went 3 for 4 with a home run and three RBIs, helping St. Louis. John Neumann down by Bucktail, 20-9 and winning his second game in a row.

The Knights (2-1) broke things up as they scored 13 runs in the fourth inning. Naseer Dymeck also had a great day with 3 for 4 with a double and four runs. Naz Smith tripled, Jimmy Weller hit a two-run double and Mark Roman doubled as well. Kane Wright won the victory on the mound and also ran in two races. Zach Pick had three hits and scored three times for Bucktail.

Freshman Alex Davis threw a three-hit shutout and also went 2 for 3 with three RBIs as North Penn-Mansfield blanked Towanda, 10-0 in six innings. Catcher Cam Fabian also played a big 4 for 5 match with an RBI and two steals. Fabian also threw out a runner who tried to steal for the fourth time this season.

Gavin Morse, Cooper Kitchen and Weston Bellows combined on a five-hitter for Canton, but Northeast Bradford scored three first-inning runs and led the rest of the way, defeating the Warriors, 4-2.

• Three Lycoming College wrestlers got a spot on the National Wrestling Coaches Association Scholar All-American team. Freshman 149-pound Logan Bartlett (Lewisburg graduate), junior heavyweight Connor Fulmer and freshman heavyweight Robbie West were honored.

To be eligible for the NWCA Scholar All-American Award, a student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA better than 3.20 or have achieved a 3.20 GPA in the past two semesters and meet one of three criteria: qualify for the NCAA Championships, place in the NCAA Regional and win more than half of your matches or win more than 66 percent of his matches.

Bartlett finished 25-16 during his rookie season with 11 pins and a technical drop on his way to becoming number eight in the NCAA Southeast Regional to achieve his first Scholar All-American honors.

Fulmer finished 40-3 in his first full year with the Warriors. He finished seventh at the NCAA Championships to earn All-American honors, won the NCAA Southeast Regional, and had a winning streak of 29 games over the course of the season, helping him finish 20th in the NCAA Division III Most Dominant Wrestler standings.

West had a record of 19-9 in his first year with the Warriors.

• Penn College crossed past Wells in a college softball doubles, 29-0 and 20-0. Both games went only five innings. In the first game, the Wildcats collected 16 hits and had 20 in game two. Sweep improves Penn College to 13-6.

Olivia Hemstock went 4 for 6 with six RBIs in the first game, while Margaret Mangene (3 for 4) and Maddie Hurst each had three hits. Jordan Specht had two hits.
