Vegas Golden Knights of the Vancouver Canucks -130

The Golden Knights are just behind the Kings in the standings and come into this game with the Canucks, perhaps as healthy as they have been all season. They may even get Mark Stone back for this game (doubtfully), which would be a huge moral boost. On the ice, the Knights have been good lately and have won victories in six of their last seven games. They were blown away in their only loss of Vancouver a few nights ago, which is probably the only reason this line is still that close. The Canucks have won three in a row, but two of those wins have come against the Coyotes and Sharks. Vegas looks like a good site to host tonight.

Predators -1.5 vs Sharks +120

The Sharks have lost six in a row and there have been signs of inter-league battles lately that suggest this team is not close to breaking out of its downturn. They host a Predators team that is in the middle of a playoff race and can not afford to slip any more. Nashville has been amazing at home lately and has won six of its last seven home games, with four of those wins coming with two or more goals. They are also 9-1 right up against Nashville in their last 10 meetings against them at home.

Top stack

Florida Panthers vs. Anaheim Ducks

Sam Bennett ($ 5,500) – Claude Giroux ($ 4,900) – Jonathan Huberdeau ($ 7,500)

We have a massive 14-game board on tap for today, so our options are somewhat limitless. That said, the Panthers are at home and have an implied team of a total of 4.6 goals today, so it’s still a good way to start the lineups by looking at their top-six again. The Panthers’ second unit continues to be undervalued for everyday fantasy hockey purposes with Claude Giroux under $ 5K in salary and acts as a light stack alongside elite fantasy producer Jonathan Huberdeau. The two have collected for 14 points in their last four matches and exceeded 20.0 DKFP as a pair in three of those four matches.

The Panthers take on the Ducks today, so going to the home game and adding center Sam Bennett is a great way to get maximum exposure. Bennett falls a little short as a playmaker, but he’s still well below $ 6,000 and has an average of over 3.0 shots per game. match. If he finds the net, he will almost certainly pay off in this place and will probably also add to the assist totals for our productive winger.

The Ducks have conceded 18 goals in their last four games alone and are now seventh-last in shots against per. match. There are lots of great lines on the board, but few offer the kind of value + upward we get with this Florida device. Keep stacking until prices rise or the Panthers decide to shuffle their top-six again.

Superstar to goal

Jack Eichel, Vegas Golden Knights at Vancouver Canucks ($ 7,900)

There are plenty of mid-range forwards we can build around today, but the place for Jack Eichel is one I like to take advantage of. The former Saber has been fantastic for the Golden Knights in the last seven to eight games, both from a real perspective and for fantasy purposes. Eichel has averaged 16.0 DKFPs over his last 10 games, but has fired the puck at an insane pace with four or more shots in each of his last five games. Eichel still has room for improvement (in his short-term shot percentage) also for more positive regression, as he only hits about 13% of his shots, which is still under many elite attackers.

The Canucks remain a fantastic fantasy team to target with our attackers on the top line, given their matches on the penalty shootout and they could be a bit of a failing place after a couple of easy wins and their hopes of the playoffs had almost stalled. Eichel should keep running today and a big night would not shock against a defensive team below average.

Value of violation

Mathieu Joseph ($ 3,000)

The Senators have owned the Red Wings lately, going 5-1 straight up against them in their last six meetings. Over has also been hit in 12 of the last 13 Red Wings games (over / under is set at 6.5 +100 today on DraftKings Sportsbook). It seems sensible to target cheap value up front with Joseph on the side of the senators. The former Lightning striker has averaged over one point per game. fight over his last 10 starts and plays in a definitive top-six role for Ottawa. You might consider taking the entire Senators’ top unit today for a value stack or two-man combo game, but Joseph is the best punt option there by far.

Victor Olofsson ($ 3,400)

The Leafs’ offense has obviously been rolling lately, but their defense is also still something we can target for everyday fantasy hockey purposes. We also get an Eric Hallgren in the net today, which is a good thing for Sabers attackers. Hallgren has allowed three or more goals in five of his last six starts and has just a 0.904 save percentage in seven starts. Olofsson is now up to seven goals in his last 10 games and is still underpriced for a player who gets first-unit power-play time and has an average of 12.6 DKFP in his last 10 starts.

Igor Shesterkin, New York Rangers vs. Carolina Hurricanes ($ 7,600)

Rangers have a tough game today against the Hurricanes and only rate as +105 home deficit on DraftKings Sportsbook. That said, the Rangers are also an insane 18-2 straight up when they played the Hurricanes at home during their last 20 meetings between the two clubs in New York. Shesterkin has been his usual ingenious self lately, stopping 51 of the last 52 shots on net he has encountered, and he would obviously love to finish off strong with a few statement wins to ensure what should be his first Vezina Trophy victory ever.

From a daily fantasy-hockey perspective, we could also pay for Robin Lehner ($ 7,900) at this spot, as the Knights are -130 away favorites and Lehner has similar upside as Shesterkin. Rangers’ net memories should be lower owned today, however, only by virtue of matchup and provide better value and GPP capability, given all the factors.

Value of defense

Tyson Barrie, Edmonton Oilers at Minnesota Wild ($ 3,900)

When looking for potential upside of $ 4K or less, Barrie must be our main target. The Oilers defender defines boom or bust for daily fantasy hockey purposes as he has posted two games with 15.0 or more DKFP, and two games with less than 5.0 DKFP, in his last eight games alone.

Barrie still gets consistent time on the powerplay with two of the most skilled centers in the game and has shown the ability to make money with that group and has landed four multipoint matches since early March. Minnesota takes the second most penalties per. match throughout the league and also has a bottom-10 penalty kick. The price tag of less than 4K $ – which is Barrie’s cheapest price in well over 10 games – makes him a fantastic upward value for Tuesday’s 14 players.

Power Play Defensemen

Morgan Rielly, Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Buffalo Sabers ($ 5,600)

The Leafs have an insane goal of 4.9 today, so we could not read the entire article without mentioning at least one of their players. Morgan Rielly looks like a solid goal on the backend for well under $ 6,000 at this point and has produced solid 13.4 DKFP over his last 10 games with 12 points in that time. The Leafs ‘offensive is a puzzle at the moment, and with the Leafs’ defensive corps now healthier, Rielly should be in line for more special team minutes.

In addition to paying for Roman Josi ($ 8,900), there are not a host of options with more upside than Rielly today in defense, who not only belong to a top-five offense, but who probably also have the best matchup on the board. Buffalo allows the sixth-most shots online per. fight and have the seventh-worst penalty-kill. Take the discount and build your Toronto stacks around the defender.
